The introduction to the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) that was offered by the USGS and NSGIC yesterday is now available on-line. The training was presented by Jeff Simley, of the USGS, and included an overview of the NHD, plans to make it even better, and a discussion of the state/federal partnerships that have made the project possible.

The National State Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) offers a growing collection of recorded WebEx sessions, part of an on-going “virtual conference” that helps busy GIS professionals keep up and keep in touch without having to travel to every conference on GIS topics in the US.
